Le National Book Critics Circle dévoile les sélections de ses prix, qui seront décernés en mars.

Jonathan Franzen, dans la catégorie “roman” et Patti Smith, déjà lauréate du National Book Award, dans la catégorie “autobiographie”, sont les favoris des prochains National Book Critics Circle Awards, qui seront décernés le 10 mars à New York par les critiques américains dans six catégories.

Outre les derniers livres de Jennifer Egan et de Jonathan Franzen, la sélection de romans comporte deux traductions : To the End of the Land de l'Israélien David Grossman et Comedy in a Minor Key de l'Allemand Hans Keilson. On trouve aussi dans la sélection deux biographies littéraires de Montaigne et de Somerset Maugham.
